It is hard to believe that today, August 12th, 2023 marks two years since the passing of my amazing and wonderful husband, Tom Hart. Tom was not only an incredible role model and loving father to Alex T. Hart and Austin Hart, but he was a true friend to any individual who crossed his path. He never met a stranger and always showed compassion and listened with heart. We miss his sweet smile, his sense of humor, but most importantly the way he made you feel special and loved.
For 24 years Tom was a strong leader and dedicated employee at Honeywell where he successfully led several business units within Honeywell Aerospace. In his last role he served as the VP/GM of Air and Thermal for Aerospace. He was awarded the prestigious CEO Premier Achievement Award for Honeywell, as well as the Gold Business Enterprise (GBE) of the year for all of Honeywell in 2020.
On July 31, 2023 Honeywell dedicated a conference room in Tomís memory and honor. Itís called the Tom Hart conference room and holds two pictures of him. The boys and I attended for the official ribbon cutting, and we enjoyed hearing from Tomís former work colleagues.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all of the Honeywell leadership and support teams who made this vision a reality, especially Mike Madsen, Brian Wenig and Jannelle Cosgriff. This recognition is a testament to Tomís focus on customer excellence, business growth and his talent for identifying innovative solutions. Below are some pictures of the event.
